Using My Brain Sage.

These are the terms of use for the My Brain Sage app: it runs on your device, your data stays with you and your subscription is handled by your app store.

The agreement

By downloading or using My Brain Sage you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the app is not for you and you should not use it. The app is intended for adults.

Your licence to use the app

You have a personal, non-transferable licence to use My Brain Sage on devices you own or control, for your own use. The app and everything in it, including the card libraries, the science writing, the scoring model and the design, belong to the developer and remain protected by copyright. You agree not to copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app or its content.

What the app is and what it is not

My Brain Sage is an educational tool for building brain literacy. It offers reflection, observation and science-grounded reading. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition and it is not a substitute for professional advice. The scores and grades it shows are a lens for your own attention, not a clinical measure. If you are concerned about your mental or physical health, please speak with a qualified professional.

Trial and subscription

The app begins with a 14-day free trial with full access. After the trial, continued access to new daily check-ins and new content requires a monthly or yearly subscription. Your history and dashboard remain viewable either way.

Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by and managed in your app store account with Apple or Google. They renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your app store's subscription settings and cancelling stops the next renewal. Prices are shown in your store before you buy and refunds are governed by your store's policies. The developer never sees your payment details.

Your data

Your entries, scores and history live on your device and belong to you. Deleting the app deletes the data it holds on that device. The full picture is in the privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

My Brain Sage is provided as is. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee or right you hold under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Beyond what the law requires, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the previous twelve months.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
